The purpose of the 罗恩州警察局 is to effectively provide police services to all Roane State campuses, 教师, 工作人员, 学生, 和游客. Roane State Police Officers are Tennessee P.O.S.T. certified and have jurisdiction throughout the state at all Tennessee Board of Regents institutions.
The department is responsible for maintaining the enforcement of state and local laws as governed by the State of Tennessee at all Roane State buildings and properties located in Eastern Tennessee. This includes enforcement of campus rules and regulations as set forth by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
It is the responsibility of the Department to provide quality police services by maintaining the highest ideals of honesty, integrity and sound judgment while recognizing both our duty to protect and serve.

With no compromise for crime and with relentless prosecution of criminals, I will enforce the law courteously and appropriately without fear or favor, 恶意或恶意, never employing unnecessary force or violence and never accepting gratuities.
I recognize the badge of my office as a symbol of public faith, and I accept it as a public trust to be held so long as I am true to the ethics of the police service.
